On 28 May 2020, the EU-funded H2020 STEVE project along with Polytechnic of Torino and the City of Torino, together with selected representative experts organised a webinar on “Scenarios of electro-mobility: cross-fertilization and dissemination of best practices and researches within EU“.
The webinar had an open debate on topics like:
- Electric vehicle user centric design
- Experiments of electrified L-category vehicles in the urban transport system
- Charging infrastructures
During the webinar, ELVITEN project was presented to participants by Christina Anagnostopoulou from ELVITEN Project Coordination Team at ICCS. In the presentation, she explained the project overview, objectives and achievements till date. She also presented how the demonstrations are conducted in the six ELVITEN cities, the different type of vehicles used for demonstrations, and user acceptance. Finally she concluded by explaining the next steps in the project.
The STEVE project intends to maximise the impact of the demonstrations in different European cities, generate vital data for the next generation of EL-Vs and support the mind-shift necessary for a successful integration of EL-Vs in the urban transport system.
