We did it! The Expert Committee of enerTIC, a platform that aims to improve energy efficiency by using Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), nominated ELVITEN as one of the finalists of this year’s enerTIC Award in the category of “Smart Mobility”.
The nomination was made as a recognition to the sustainable and eco-friendly aspects of the ELVITEN project which will promote the use of Electric Light Vehicles (EL-Vs) in urban areas of six European cities including the city of Málaga. Spanish project partner ATOS SPAIN SA postulated ELVITEN to this prominent award that acknowledges innovative projects committed to energy efficiency and sustainability.
The public vote will decide the winning projects, which will be announced on December 12 during the Official Award Ceremony, at the Secretariat of State for Digital Advancement in Madrid. As a finalist, the ELVITEN project will appear in the VII Smart Energy Reference Guide “Technology for the improvement of Energy Efficiency” which will be presented during the enerTIC awards Ceremony and at the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona.
There are 14 award-winning under the categories “Smart Cities”, “Smart Energy”, “Smart Industry 4.0”, “Smart Data Center” and “International Projects”. In total, 116 projects have been evaluated by the Committee, following precise evaluation criteria. Among these criteria is the degree of innovation, the usability of ICT, the use of metrics and improvement indicators, the applicability in other environments and finally the impact on the reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
To vote, you have to register here using your professional email, then log-in on the enerTIC Award website (in Spanish only). Once you have registered and logged in, go to the voting page and search for the ELVITEN project under the category ‘Smart Mobility’.
