ELVITEN project partner ERTICO is hosting its 13th European Congress from 3-6 June. Taking place in Eindhoven, it is the largest event entirely dedicated to the digitalisation of transport and smart mobility. As an innovative solution to urban mobility, ELVITEN will also be there to contribute to the week of learning about the latest ITS technologies and mobility concepts.
The theme of the 2019 13th European ITS Congress is “Fulfilling ITS Promises” which is all about innovative and impactful solutions that make life and mobility cleaner, safer and more efficient. On Wednesday 5 June at ERTICO stand number 2:1, there will be an overall presentation about ELVITEN along with the NeMo Project from 12:00 to 12:30. Attendees will have a chance to learn more about the project during the information session as well as interact and test apps that have been developed within the project to incentivise users to make use of the vehicles.
The ELVITEN project promotes more innovation, sustainability and connected urban mobility in six pilot sites. It does this by demonstrating the usefulness of electrified L-category vehicles (EL-Vs) for urban transportation. By addressing the issues surrounding wide market deployment of EL-V’s, ELVITEN aims to make users more familiar and facilitate their use.
